Safer Internet Day 2025

This year, Safer Internet Day is on 11th February. This is a Tuesday, so we will be in school. This year’s theme is, ‘Too Good to be True? Protecting Yourself from Scams Online.’

At 11am on that day, you can join the BBC for a live lesson. Here is what they say they have in store:

Join us live this Safer Internet Day as we step into the virtual world of Scam Smashers!

In this exciting game, players must outsmart digital tricksters to protect their personal information and secure their online presence. Can your class work together, use their detective skills, and make it to the end of the Live Lesson to smash the scammers once and for all?

The 30 minute Live Lesson will be available to watch live at 11:00 on Tuesday 11 February on this page and on the CBBC channel.

It sounds like a lot of fun and we look forward taking part in Safer Internet Day 2025.
