Keeping Passwords Safe
It is important to use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly.
Here is a simple set of rules to help you to set up a safe password:
include numbers, letters and symbols;
use at least one capital letter;
make it something you will remember but others won’t think of;
make sure it has eight characters or more;
never use obvious names or dates;
never write down or share your password.
If I had my password stolen, I would feel like I have no privacy. Cyber security experts say that we won’t be using passwords in the near future; it will be all about biometric authentication, such as face recognition and fingerprint recognition.
